I have a selection of appliances in my kitchen, some of which I use daily and some which come out weekly. To make the plunge into healthy eating you don’t need a lot of equipment to make simple easy nutritious food.
Here are my GO TO tools to make my life easy when it comes to whipping up a storm in the kitchen.
The food processor
This is one of my favourites. If you have not got one this is an investment to make. From making your own mayonnaise to nut butters and ice creams. I cannot live without this machine it does all the work for me. If you haven’t got one make sure you buy a good quality machine.
The high Powered Blender
OMG this never gets off my bench, A high powered blender is the best piece of equipment, investing in this is a given. Makes smoothies in 30 seconds, nut milks in a minutes and pulverises nuts and seeds into flours in seconds and will make amazing raw desserts. You don’t have to spend thousands, but this investment is worth every dollar. You can pick one up for around $400.00 these days.
Nut Milk Bags
Making your own nut milks is so easy, by adding water to soaked nuts, blending it and straining the milk through this little beauty you know exactly what you are drinking and can reuse the remaining nutmeal left in the bag. It is so easy and you know exactly what you are drinking.
Water is what we are predominantly made from, drinking good quality water helps with digestion and flushes out damaging toxins.
The best time saver and great for keeping the nutrition value in food. Great for making Bone Broths and soups. You can pick one up from Kmart for about $30.00
Can cook chickens in 20 minutes. The flavour that this creates is purely amazing.
This really is a time machine, dinner can be done in 30 minutes,
You don’t need much to convert to healthy eating, investing in a couple of appliances to save on time will also save you money, all you need is basic ingredients and the machine does the rest, and you know exactly what is going into your dishes.
